thank you
do you feel these localized areas of incompetence are enough to cause cutaneous venous hypertension and persistent spiders?

Where exactly is this refluxing segment and what is the source? I prefer to do an US directed phlebectomy for these refluxing larger vessels. This gets rid of the problem and decrease the chance of angiogenesis secondary to repeated injections.

middle aged female slightly over ideal body weight with persistent spider and reticular complex despite dual modality therapy with foam/liquid/ and D940 x 3.

Repeat ultrasound has finding of single venovenous refluxing segment with persistent reflux although isolated to this segment.

We plan to foam this using guidance then repeat our spider therapy.

Do you feel this localized refluxing segment could pressurize the superficial reticulars to an extent to be the culprit for the persistent spiders?

Are we missing something here?

Suggestions?

thx
