C02 Medical Grade- Images

Last Updated: 2/20/2012

We rent a tank and ours is quite large.  There are various companies who offer medical grade CO2 have a variety of sizes to use. One national company that has medical grade CO2 is Air Gas. You can find a location in your area by going to www.airgas.com Most companies will offer a rental unit and some have you purchase the tank and charge a nominal fee to refill it when it is empty.

Ideally, getting a regulator is the easiest way to dispense the CO2 from a tank. With a regulator, you can place some IV tubing on the regulator with a 3-way stopcock on the end.

Fill a 10ml syringe with CO2 and then use that to fill a 3ml syringes.

The CO2mmandar is also available and can be purchased from Wagner medical. His website is www.wagner-medical.com/ It is more expensive than renting or purchasing a tank but a little more user friendly.
