Always try to get out any reticular veins that drain the complex or you may get angiogenesis just like with sclerotherapy.

Insurance does not cover this since it is a cosmetic procedure. Patients will pay for this procedure.

i was thinking that this punch spider nanophlebectomy was just the mechanical effects of the punch biopsy severing the spider veins and letting the severed fragments die

but now i see he does try to hook the small reticular veins
has he tried just the punch-severing technique by itself without the hook?

would be interesting. theoretically that should be all that’s needed

have you had any insurance cover this form of phlebectomy for reticular veins, like they would cover it for varicosities?

best, rich

This is an example of a short video presentation that will be available to Vein Experts members. New videos will be available to Vein Experts members only at www.veinexperts.org!

Consider this technique for patients that have large spider vein complexes. Many times you can do this without having to do any sclerotherapy or thermal treatments.

This is a good alternative to patients with allergies to sclerotherapy solutions or complexes larger than this that may have clotting & staining after sclerotherapy.
