Spider Veins: Symptomatic with Perforating VeinsLast Updated: 8/16/201157-year old female presents with chief complaint of pain when standing exactly at the level of the spider varicosities. There is no saphenous reflux and the deep veins are normal. As you can see in figures 3 & 4, there are large perforators associated with each of these spider varicosities. Figure 3 is directly associated with Figure 2 and Figure 4 is associated with the middle spider complex which is shown in Figure 1.
