History DVT & Pain in Legs - Can you help this patient?Last Updated: 7/11/2011
10 years ago, I had several DVT''s in both legs due to taking Tomaxifin for breast cancer and factor 5 and 8 , predispose to clotting in which I never knew I had until 52 years old. The clots have left my legs dark blue/black, hard to the touch, almost like wood. Is there anything I could do besides wearing the jobst stockings to restore the energy in my legs. They feel dead and are getting darker and darker where the clots were. I know that I blew out several valves near the ankles. My legs are so sensitive that they hurt if anyone touches them.
